2006 Hummer H1 Slant Back Conversion
This 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha is said to be one of 417 wagons produced for the final model year and was modified with an AM General factory slant back shell prior to being refinished in Line-X bedliner material. The truck is powered by a turbodiesel 6.6-liter Duramax V8 mated to a five-speed Allison automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional features include a Predator 2″ lift kit, a roof rack, underbody bars, black 17″ forged-aluminum beadlock wheels, 40″ tires, a Central Tire Inflation System, front and rear light bars, a front winch and brush guard, air conditioning, a carbon-fiber weave interior trim kit, and a Pioneer infotainment system.
The truck was reportedly finished from the factory in gloss black, and it received a slant back conversion in 2007 prior to being refinished in flat-black Line-X material. Features include a front winch and brush guard, flat-black-finished bumpers and trim, a black roof rack, a hitch receiver, a clamshell hood, black rear-mounted auxiliary tanks, and front and rear light bars.
Factory 17″ forged-aluminum beadlock wheels have been refinished in black and are mounted with 40×13.5″ Maxxis Trepador tires. The suspension was modified with a Predator two-inch lift kit and is equipped with a a full-size rear-mounted spare and a Central Tire Inflation System as well as inboard disc brakes.
The cabin features black leather upholstery on the bolstered front and rear bucket seats with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include an aftermarket carbon-fiber-weave interior trim kit that surrounds the instruments and front and rear consoles along with power locks and windows, air conditioning, and a Pioneer infotainment system with in-roof speakers.
The 2006 H1 Alpha models were powered by a 6.6-liter GM Duramax turbodiesel V8, which was rated for 300 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque when new.Power is delivered either to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed Allison automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
